I used to introduce myself as “April the dentist” in situations when I didn’t want to explain my name or my job [usually the floor of a dance club].

I’ve come to be ok with having a hard-to-pronounce name and have come to realize it’s precisely because I can’t quickly sum up what I do for a living that I love what I do.
