Meet Your Chapter Leader
“I’ve loved every M&C event I’ve attended (when living in Chicago) and have benefited a lot from Saya’s Cheese-It community and goodness. From the moment I met her, I loved her authenticity and power of positivity (but also how she’s real and down to earth). Such soul-filling events and interactions — truly something special. Saya has nailed the “un-networking” thing and built an incredible community. Fear Experiment was life changing for me — I did improv — and I hope everyone gets to have experiences like that in their adult lives. I’ve often wished Mac & Cheese offerings were here so I was honored to be asked to bring them to Austin. Life of Yes to me means taking advantage of new opportunities and doing things out of your comfort zone! And also finding positive ways to live!”— Erin

Erin has been through lay-offs and switched careers so she knows what it takes to update your personal marketing materials and how to sell yourself. She knows that it’s stressful and sometimes painful and created Café Con Resume (inspired by her beloved Café Con Leche from Spain) to help try to make part of the job search enjoyable like a good cup of coffee. Areas of specialty: Marketing/Advertising, Corporate Marketing, Non-profit and Higher Education. Most resume tips translate to all industries. Outside of UT and Café Con Resume, Erin keeps her marketing hat on to aid her husband in expanding his personal chef business, Down to Cook. She has also been known to help promote the expansion of Dabble in Austin.
