When the person on the stairclimber next to me is talking on his/her phone, when the just-bought avocado I cut into is rotten, when a train goes by just as I get to the turnstile, I have to remind myself that my problems really aren’t problems.
One day, perhaps I’ll be able to write a check to help others less fortunate than I.
Until then, I try to help via means I do have — time, organizational skills, an expansive network, $5 or $10 here and there…
